1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.amodr.com and all services offered through it, including pandit booking, the Muhurat Finder and the Amodr store. By accessing or using Amodr, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

Amodr connects families with verified purohits for religious ceremonies, provides a free Panchang-based muhurat guidance tool, and sells spiritual products. Amodr acts as a platform connecting families and independent purohits; the purohit performs the ceremony as an independent service provider.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law to book services or make purchases on Amodr. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials confidential.

4. Bookings & Payments

• A booking is confirmed only once payment (in full or as an advance) is received
• Package pricing shown at the time of booking is final unless you request additional services
• Cancellations and rescheduling follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy

5. Pandit Services — Nature & Conduct

Pandit and puja services are religious and cultural in nature, performed according to Vedic tradition and the family's stated preference (Bengali or Hindi). Amodr verifies the purohit's lineage, training and identity, but the spiritual or personal outcomes of a ritual are a matter of faith and are not guaranteed by Amodr in any material sense.

Purohits listed on Amodr are expected to arrive on time, treat the family with respect, and perform the ceremony as described. Any conduct concern should be reported to us immediately.

6. Muhurat Finder — Disclaimer

The Muhurat Finder provides guidance based on standard Panchang calculations (sunrise-based Rahu Kaal, Abhijit and related windows) for informational and traditional purposes. It is not a substitute for personalised astrological consultation, and Amodr is not liable for outcomes related to timing decisions made using the tool.

7. Product Purchases

Product descriptions, images and certifications are provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge. Purchases are governed by our Shipping Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on www.amodr.com — text, graphics, logos and design — is the property of Amodr unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

9. Prohibited Use

• Using the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submitting false booking or payment information
• Attempting to interfere with the security or normal operation of the website
• Harassing or abusing purohits, staff or other users

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Indian law, Amodr's liability for any claim arising from use of our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking or order in question. Amodr is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of Amodr's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Amodr after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
